## Description

This square TFT display module is made for advanced projects that need a high-resolution 4 inch panel in a compact, symmetrical format. It offers 480x480 16-bit full-colour pixels and uses an IPS display, so colour remains strong up to 80 degrees off-axis in any direction.The display is driven by an ST7701S controller and uses both SPI and TTL RGB “dot clock” data. SPI is only used to configure the display — pixels cannot be drawn over SPI — so you will need hardware that can drive TTL RGB TFT displays directly.This module is best suited to powerful boards such as an ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM, or a Raspberry Pi using direct-DPI or an intermediary chip such as the ICN6211. It is not intended for everyday Feather or Arduino wiring unless your hardware specifically supports RGB-666 displays and the correct pinout.This is the display module only; no PCB is included.
