## Description

This square TFT module is for advanced display projects that need a dense, eye-catching 480x480 screen. The 4-inch IPS panel provides 16-bit full-colour pixels, with colour that remains clear up to 80 degrees off-axis in any direction.This version does not include a touchscreen. It uses an ST7701S TFT driver with SPI for display configuration and TTL RGB ‘dot clock’ data for pixels, so you cannot draw pixels over SPI.This is just the display module, with no PCB included. Although it has a 40-pin connector, it does not share the same pinout as standard rectangular 800x480 or 480x272 TFT displays, so it needs a compatible RGB-666 driver setup.To drive it, you’ll need hardware that specifically supports TTL RGB TFT output, such as an ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM or a Raspberry Pi using direct DPI or an intermediary chip like the ICN6211.
