The SIK includes everything you need to complete 16 circuits that will teach you how to read sensors, display information on an LCD, drive motors, and more. You don’t need any previous programming or electronics experience to use this kit.\nThe on-line SIK Digital Guide (in the Documents section below) contains step by step instructions of how to connect each circuit with the included parts. Full example code is provided and explained and even includes troubleshooting tips if something goes wrong.\nThe kit does not require any soldering and is recommended for beginners ages 10 and up. This International version includes the new Simon Says circuit experiment found in the V3.2 SIK with all the LEDs and tactile buttons you will need to complete it, the kit also replaces the SparkFun RedBoard for the tried and true Arduino Uno and removes the SIK Guidebook and carrying case. With these parts being swapped and removed we were able to reduce the overall size and weight of the kit making shipping cheaper and easier for anyone ordering it internationally.\nNote: As stated above, this SIK does NOT include a carrying case. If you would like to purchase one separately they can be found in the Recommended Products below.\nCircuit Examples:\n\nCircuit 1: Blinking an LED\nCircuit 2: Reading a Potentiometer\nCircuit 3: Driving and RGB LED\nCircuit 4: Driving Multiple LEDs\nCircuit 5: Push Buttons\nCircuit 6: Reading a Photo Resistor\nCircuit 7: Reading a Temperature Sensor\nCircuit 8: Driving a Servo Motor\nCircuit 9: Using a Flex Sensor\nCircuit 10: Reading a Soft Potentiometer\nCircuit 11: Using a Buzzer\nCircuit 12: Driving a Motor\nCircuit 13: Using Relays\nCircuit 14: Using a Shift Register\nCircuit 15: Using an LCD\nCircuit 16: Simon Says\n\nKit Includes:\n\nArduino Uno - R3 SMD\nArduino and Breadboard Holder\nWhite Solderless Breadboard\nSparkFun Mini Screwdriver\n\n16x2 White on Black LCD (with headers)\n74HC595 Shift Register\n2N2222 Transistors\n1N4148 Diodes\nDC Motor with Gear\nSmall Servo\nSPDT 5V Relay\nTMP36 Temp Sensor\nFlex sensor\nSoftpot\n6' SparkFun USB Cable\nJumper Wires\nPhotocell\nTri-color LED\nRed, Blue, Yellow, and Green LEDs\nRed, Blue, Yellow, and Green Tactile Buttons\n10K Trimpot\nPiezo Speaker\nBig 12mm Buttons\n\n330 and 10K Resistors\n\nDocuments:\n\nSIK Digital Guide\nSIK Code Library\n\n\n\n","vendor":"SparkFun","product_type":"physical","in_stock":true,"options":[],"variants":[{"id":8519,"title":"Default Title","sku":"SF-KIT-13154","price":172.79,"compare_at_price":0.0,"on_sale":false,"in_stock":true,"available_quantity":1,"option1":"Default Title"}]}
