The SparkFun 5-Way Tactile Switch Breakout provides joystick-like directional control in a tiny, breadboard-friendly package. The breakout board includes onboard pull-up resistors, so the outputs read low when pressed and high when idle. You can reverse the power leads for pull-down operation if your project requires it.
