## Description

This compact 8×8 yellow-green LED matrix packs 64 ultra-bright LEDs into a 1.2" square footprint. With 0.1"-spaced pins on each side, it plugs directly into a breadboard — one row per side — making it easy to prototype scrolling signs, animations, and small displays without any additional hardware mounts. The matrix uses a common multiplexed grid arrangement and requires 1:8 multiplex control. Drive it with a 74HC595 and TPIC6B595 shift register pair, or simplify your wiring with a single MAX7219 LED driver IC, which handles all the multiplexing for you.
