## Description

The RP-L-400 is a long, flexible thin-film pressure sensor with a 400 mm active length. It detects both static and dynamic pressure by converting applied force into a variable resistance — resistance decreases as pressure increases. The ultra-thin construction (0.35 mm) and fast response time make it suitable for integration into smart textiles, medical devices, bed monitoring systems, and human-interface applications. The sensor consists of two layers: an upper film with a pressure-sensitive conductive layer and a lower film with a printed circuit. When force is applied to the active area, the layers make contact and complete the circuit, producing a measurable resistance change proportional to the applied pressure.
