The 2.1" diagonal IPS panel provides 480x480 16-bit full-colour output, with good colour visibility up to 80 degrees off-axis in any direction.This version does not include a touchscreen. It uses the ST7701S TFT driver with SPI for configuration and TTL RGB “dot clock” data for pixel output, so pixels cannot be drawn over SPI alone.Please note that this is just the display module; no PCB is included. Although it has a 40-pin connector, its pinout is not the same as standard rectangular 800x480 or 480x272 TFT displays, so it needs a compatible driver board or host with the correct RGB-666 support.Suitable hosts include powerful controllers such as an ESP32-S3 with octal PSRAM, or a Raspberry Pi using direct-DPI or an intermediary chip such as the ICN6211.
