## Description

The RF Link Receiver is a simple 434 MHz wireless receiver module designed for one-way data communication with a compatible 434 MHz transmitter. It fits easily into a breadboard and pairs with microcontrollers to create basic wireless data links at up to 4800 bps. As a receive-only module, it handles one-way communication. For bidirectional links, two transmitter/receiver pairs operating on different frequencies are required. The module receives on a common frequency without built-in device IDs, so a software filtering or encoding method (such as the VirtualWire library) is recommended for reliable communication. Key Features 434 MHz Operation – Compatible with 434 MHz RF Link transmitters 4800 bps Data Rate – Suitable for basic telemetry and control signals ~150 m Range – Up to approximately 150 m (500 ft) under ideal conditions 5 V Supply – Standard logic-level power requirement Breadboard Friendly – Pin spacing fits standard solderless breadboards Specifications Frequency – 434 MHz Data Rate – 4800 bps Supply Voltage – 5 V Range – ~150 m (ideal conditions) Communication – One-way (receive only) Ideal For Simple wireless data links and remote control Sensor telemetry and monitoring Learning RF communication with microcontrollers Breadboard prototyping Note: These receivers will pick up ambient noise on the 434 MHz band. Use a software encoding library such as VirtualWire to filter noise and ensure reliable data transfer. Resources VirtualWire Arduino Library Datasheet (PDF) GitHub Repository
