The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe is a USB-to-debug adapter designed for solderless, plug-and-play debugging and programming of Raspberry Pi Pico and RP2040-based boards. It provides both a serial wire debug (SWD) interface and a UART interface, each using the Raspberry Pi 3-pin debug connector. Based on Raspberry Pi Pico hardware running the open-source Picoprobe firmware, it is compatible with the CMSIS-DAP standard and works with OpenOCD on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The firmware is easily updated to the latest version or replaced with custom builds.
