## Description

This PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) Heating Element is a self-regulating thermostatic ceramic heater that automatically maintains a constant surface temperature without external temperature controllers or sensors. Simply apply power and the element heats to its target temperature, then self-regulates to hold it steady. The aluminium-tube encapsulation provides an insulated, constant-temperature surface with high heat transfer. It works on both AC and DC power regardless of polarity, making it versatile for a wide range of low-voltage heating applications. The power supply must be rated above the element's maximum dissipated power for proper operation. Note: After power-on, heating power ramps up then settles to a stable level that depends on heat dissipation conditions. Faster heat dissipation results in higher stable power draw. The marked power is the maximum — actual operating power will be lower.
