It is designed for efficient power conversion in applications where a linear regulator would waste too much energy as heat.The board accepts input voltages from 24 V up to 60 V and can deliver up to 4 A, with typical continuous output current depending on input voltage and thermal conditions. Efficiency is around 90% to 95%, varying with load, input and output voltage.Protection and control features include input reverse-voltage protection, over-current protection, thermal shutdown and soft-start to limit inrush current.
