## Description

The PS1240 is a compact piezo buzzer for generating beeps, tones, and alerts in electronic projects. Drive it with a 3–30 V peak-to-peak square wave from a timer or microcontroller. It produces its loudest output around 4 kHz but works well across the 2–10 kHz range. For extra volume, use differential drive by connecting both pins to microcontroller outputs and alternating which pin is high — this doubles the effective drive voltage.
