NETduino 3 Ethernet

Discontinued

The Netduino 3 Ethernet is an open-source electronics platform powered by the .NET Micro Framework. Featuring a 168 MHz Cortex-M4 processor, integrated Ethernet networking, and MicroSD storage, it brings the power of high-level C# programming to embedded hardware development.

Program with event-based architecture, multi-threading, line-by-line debugging, and breakpoints using Visual Studio. The Netduino 3 Ethernet is pin-compatible with most Arduino shields (some may require .NET MF drivers), making it easy to expand with existing hardware.

Key Features

  • 168 MHz Cortex-M4 Processor – Powerful 32-bit ARM core for demanding applications
  • 1,408 KB Code Storage – Nearly 4× the storage of the Netduino 2
  • 164+ KB RAM – Almost double the memory of its predecessor
  • Integrated Ethernet – Built-in Ethernet jack for fast IP networking
  • MicroSD Slot – Supports cards up to 2 GB for data logging and storage
  • 6 ADC Channels – 12-bit analogue-to-digital converters
  • 3 GoBus Ports – Quick-connect expansion for GoBus-compatible modules
  • Arduino Shield Compatible – Standard header layout works with most Arduino shields

Ideal For

  • .NET developers exploring embedded hardware
  • IoT projects requiring Ethernet connectivity
  • Data logging applications with MicroSD storage
  • Prototyping with Arduino-compatible shields
