## Description

This adapter cable converts a 5.5mm/2.1mm DC barrel jack power supply to a Micro USB plug, allowing you to power Micro USB devices from a standard barrel jack power adapter. The barrel jack end is centre-positive polarity. It works great for powering Arduinos, BeagleBones, Raspberry Pis, Android devices, and most other USB-powered gadgets from a 5V barrel jack supply. Since there are no resistors on the data lines, it won't work for charging devices that require D+/D− resistance (such as iPhones or iPads). Specifications Input: 5.5mm/2.1mm DC barrel jack (centre positive) Output: Micro USB plug Type: Power only (no data line resistors) Ideal For Powering Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and BeagleBone from barrel jack supplies Connecting 5V DC adapters to Micro USB devices Workbench and project power setups Warning: There is no voltage regulator or protection in this adapter. Connecting a 9V or 12V power supply could destroy devices expecting 5V. Always use a 5V power supply.
