Makey Makey Go is the pocket-sized version of the invention kit: a USB stick with a single alligator clip, small enough to live on a keyring or in a pencil case.Clip it to a banana, a leaf, a puddle or a friend's hand, plug it into a computer, and that object becomes a spacebar. Setup takes seconds - there is nothing to install, no drivers, no code, and it works with Windows and macOS.For teachers, the appeal is the low barrier. A class set of Go units gets students out of the classroom and testing what conducts in the playground, the garden or the kitchen, without the setup time a full board needs. It is also a neat way to give one student a personal invention tool after a shared Makey Makey Classic session.Note: Makey Makey Go has one input rather than the full arrow-key and mouse set of the Classic.
