{"title":"MLX90640 32x24 IR Array Sensor - 55° FOV","handle":"ir-array-sensor-55-degree-fov-mlx90640","url":"/products/ir-array-sensor-55-degree-fov-mlx90640","description":"The MLX90640 is a fully calibrated thermal IR array sensor with 32x24 pixels, giving you 768 FIR pixels for non-contact temperature sensing. It uses a digital I2C interface and comes in an industry standard 4-lead TO39 package.An ambient sensor is integrated to measure the chip temperature, along with a supply sensor to measure VDD. The IR, Ta and VDD outputs are stored in internal RAM and can be accessed over I2C by your host microcontroller.This version has a 55°x35° field of view and supports target temperature measurement from -40°C ~ 300°C. Please note that the MLX90640 requires complex calculations on the host platform; a regular Arduino Uno or equivalent does not have enough RAM or flash for the full processing. Use a microcontroller with 20,000 bytes or more of RAM, such as a Teensy 3.1 or above.Specifications:Field of View (FOV): 55°x35°Pixel Array: 32x24Package: TO39Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD): 0.1K RMS @1Hz refresh rateDigital Interface: I2CProgrammable Refresh Rate: 0.5Hz ~ 64HzSupply Voltage: 3.3VCurrent Consumption: less than 23mAOperating Temperature: -40°C ~ 85°CTarget Temperature: -40°C ~ 300°CA good fit for thermal imaging experiments, temperature mapping and non-contact sensing projects where your microcontroller has enough memory for the required calculations.","vendor":"SparkFun","product_type":"Thermal IR Array Sensor","in_stock":true,"options":[],"variants":[{"id":16004,"title":"Default Title","sku":"SF-SEN-16429","mpn":"SEN-16429","price":152.45,"on_sale":false,"in_stock":true,"available_quantity":465}]}
