This high-brightness version uses the latest technology and is twice as bright as standard 2.3mm EL wire, emitting 150 cd/m² at 1.5 KHz/90V with a half-life of 3,000 hours of continuous use.\n\nEL wire consists of a stiff wire core coated with phosphor and covered in a protective PVC sheath. When an AC signal is applied, it glows brightly. Very bendable and holds its shape — you can curl it around your finger. This wire has approximately twice the capacitance (11 nF/m) of standard EL wire, so inverters will drive only half as much high-brightness wire compared to standard.\n\n\n\nNote: EL wire, EL tape, and EL panel are made with different processes — colour and brightness will not be consistent between different types of EL products.
