## Description

DescriptionPerfect for building your custom keyboard, these "Half Height" Low Profile MX key switches are compatible with standard MX layouts and solder-free sockets, offering a significantly slimmer design. While standard Cherry MX switches have a height of 10mm above the board, these switches measure just 7mm, yet maintain a 4mm actuator height. The "half height" designation refers to their 3mm body height from the mounting plate to the actuation floor, compared to the usual 6mm.Like MX Black switches, these feature a smooth linear keystroke, essentially providing the same feel as MX Blacks but in a shorter package. Type: Linear Operating Force: 70 gf (+/-10 gf) Pretravel: 1.2mm Total Travel: 3.0mm Each pack contains 12 switches, designed to complement our Adafruit MACROPAD.These switches are compatible with our NeoKey boards, including the Socket Breakout and FeatherWing, making them ideal if you want to avoid soldering. We also offer MX-compatible keycaps that snap on easily.
