## Description

The CT1780 is a cold-junction compensated amplifier for K-Type thermocouples, designed to make extreme temperature measurement easier to add to microcontroller projects. It digitises the tiny thermocouple signal and provides temperature readings with 0.25℃ resolution over a very wide measurement range.Instead of using a separate data line for every probe, the module communicates over a Gravity Single Bus 1-Wire style interface. Multiple CT1780 units can be daisy-chained on a single data line, which is handy for multi-zone temperature monitoring in ovens, kilns, furnaces, BBQ smokers and lab setups.An onboard DIP switch helps identify individual sensors in a multi-point network, working alongside the unique 64-bit address used by the 1-Wire protocol.
