{"title":"ZMOD4450 Refrigeration Air Quality Gas Sensor Module","handle":"gas-sensor-module-zmod4450","url":"/products/gas-sensor-module-zmod4450","description":"The ZMOD4450 is a compact gas sensor module for detecting gases associated with food ripening or rotting. It is intended for refrigeration air quality (RAQ) applications such as food storage and shipping, including humid and dusty environments where water spray, condensation or immersion may be possible.The module is a 12-LGA assembly measuring 3.0 × 3.0 × 0.7 mm, combining a gas sense element with a CMOS signal conditioning IC. Its sensing element uses a heater on a silicon-based MEMS structure and a metal oxide (MOx) chemiresistor, with the signal conditioner controlling sensor temperature and measuring MOx conductivity as a function of gas concentration.Measurement results are read over an I2C interface by the user’s microprocessor. Provided firmware can be used to determine the level of gases present and indicate the likelihood of food spoilage, while built-in nonvolatile memory stores module configuration and calibration data.Specifications:Type: Gas SensorSensor Type: Refrigeration Air QualityMaximum Operating Temperature: + 25 CMinimum Operating Temperature: 0 COperating Supply Voltage: 1.7 V to 3.6 VBrand: Renesas ElectronicsCurrent Rating: 7 mAHeight: 0.7 mmLength: 3 mmMoisture Sensitive: YesMounting Style: SMD/SMTProduct Type: Air Quality SensorsSeries: ZMOD4450Supply Voltage - Max: 3.6 VSupply Voltage - Min: 1.7 VWidth: 3 mmUnit Weight: 0.869621 ozA good fit for low-voltage, low-power battery designs that need to monitor refrigeration air quality and potential food spoilage via I2C.","vendor":"SparkFun","product_type":"Gas Sensor Module","in_stock":true,"options":[],"variants":[{"id":16041,"title":"Default Title","sku":"SF-COM-21506","mpn":"COM-21506","price":20.3,"on_sale":false,"in_stock":true,"available_quantity":63}]}
