The Energenie Pi-mote Control Starter Kit lets you wirelessly control mains-powered appliances from a Raspberry Pi. The kit includes a 433 MHz RF transmitter board that connects to the Pi's GPIO header and two remote-controlled plug sockets, giving you programmable on/off control of lights, fans, heaters, and other devices from up to 30 metres away. Control is handled via simple Python scripts, making it accessible for beginners and powerful enough for advanced home automation projects.
