## Description

The CMPS11 is a 3rd-generation tilt-compensated magnetic compass module that combines a 3-axis magnetometer, 3-axis gyroscope, and 3-axis accelerometer. An onboard Kalman filter fuses gyro and accelerometer data to remove errors caused by tilting, delivering accurate heading readings regardless of orientation. The module outputs heading as 0–3599 (representing 0–359.9°) or 0–255, and supports raw data output from all three sensors including x, y, z magnetic field components, pitch, and roll. Communication is via I2C or serial interface.
