This Vishay TEPT4400 is a small ambient light sensor built around a silicon NPN epitaxial planar phototransistor. It is designed to respond to visible light in a way that is similar to the human eye.Use it for simple light-level detection, day/night sensing, display brightness control, or maker projects that need to react to changing ambient light.
