## Description

This breakout carries the TMAG5273 A2, a low-power linear 3D Hall-effect sensor for measuring magnetic fields across the X, Y and Z axes. Its built-in 12-bit ADC provides axis readings over I2C, and there is also an integrated thermometer for basic temperature measurement.The sensor includes an angle calculation engine (CORDIC) for full 360° angular position information, using two user-selected magnetic axes over I2C. It is well suited to rotation and motion sensing with an embedded magnet, such as magnetic rotary encoders and joysticks without mechanical switches.Adafruit has added the support circuitry needed for use with 3.3V boards such as Feather and Raspberry Pi, or 5V boards such as Arduino and Metro328. STEMMA QT connectors make solder-free I2C wiring possible with compatible cables, while the standard header is included for breadboard or perfboard use.The board is fully assembled and tested, with CircuitPython/Python and Arduino drivers available for getting magnetic measurements quickly.
