The Adafruit TFT 50-Pin to 40-Pin + AR1100 Touchscreen Adapter converts Adafruit RTD266X driver boards with 50-pin TFT connectors to work with 40-pin TFT displays. It also includes a built-in AR1100 resistive touch controller, adding USB touchscreen input to your display setup. The AR1100 acts as a touch-to-USB converter, appearing as a standard Mouse or Digitizer HID device — no drivers required. It works on any operating system that supports a USB mouse. Calibration software from Microchip is available for Windows, and once calibrated, the touchscreen works on any OS.
