## Description

This compact breakout is made for slim USB-C projects where a standard horizontal or vertical connector would sit too high. Its sunken Type-C connector straddles the PCBA, helping keep your build low profile while still breaking out the contacts you need.USB-C gives you a reversible connector, extra data pins and higher current capability, but many projects can still use the familiar USB 2.0-style connections. For typical use, connect VBUS to your 5V input, GND to ground, and D+ and D- as normal.The board includes two 5.1K resistors on the CC pins, which signal an upstream port to provide 5V and up to 1.5A, depending on what the upstream port can actually supply.
