At the end of the strand, the wire closest to the green dot is ground, the opposite wire is power, and the centre line is data in. The pointy green dot indicates data direction; if the first pixel is held with the dot closest to you, the input is on the right side.The strand comes with connectors pre-attached, and you can also carefully solder to the solid wires or use a 3-pin JST set for a quick connection.
