The wires can be sewn over, embedded in a casting, shaped into place, or cut with wire cutters.The strand has PVC-coated wires and epoxy dots over the LEDs, so it can handle temporary outdoor use, but it should not be washed or dunked underwater. It must be powered from a 5V DC supply, and using more than 6V can destroy the strip.Connectors are pre-attached, or you can carefully solder to the solid wires.
