## Description

The Adafruit MiniBoost 5V @ 1A is a compact inductor-based boost converter that delivers up to 1 A of regulated 5 V output from a 2–5 V input. About the size of a linear regulator, it's perfect for powering microcontrollers, displays, and peripherals from a single LiPo battery or a pair of alkaline cells. Built around the TI TPS61023 with integrated dual 3 A MOSFET switches, this board achieves approximately 88% efficiency at typical loads and includes a true-disconnect enable pin that completely de-powers the output when pulled low.
