## Description

The Adafruit LPS28 Pressure Sensor Breakout features the ST LPS28DFW — a barometric pressure sensor with an extended range up to 4060 hPa, far beyond the ~1260 hPa limit of most competing sensors. This makes it suitable for underwater depth sensing (up to ~40 metres) as well as standard altitude and weather monitoring. With 24-bit resolution, ±0.5 hPa accuracy at the highest quality settings (less than 1 cm altitude resolution), and up to 200 samples per second, the LPS28 delivers exceptional precision and speed. The sensor includes a metal port for connecting thin tubing and features potting gel rated for up to 10,000 hPa with chemical resistance — check the datasheet for compatibility details.
