Note that the connector is MHF3 / IPEX3 / w.FL, not the more common u.FL style.On board you’ll find a USB-to-serial converter, power regulator, USB Micro B connector, buttons, NeoPixel and STEMMA QT I2C connector. It can be programmed with Arduino IDE, CircuitPython or MicroPython, and supports ultra-low-power use with deep sleep current consumption around 10uA.Each order includes one assembled and tested ItsyBitsy ESP32 plus headers that can be soldered in for breadboard use. An antenna is not included.Features:Form factor: Same size, form-factor as the remaining ItsyBitsy mainboards - with a similar but not identical pinout (there are no pins at the end of the board like most other Itsy's due to the radio antenna being there)USB connector: USB Micro B - To maintain compatibility with the rest of the ItsyBitsy'sProcessor: ESP32 V2 03 Dual Core 240MHz Xtensa processor - the ESP32 you know and love, with the latest engineering fixes. Massive user base and thousands of existing projects and libraries to use.Wireless: WiFi, Bluetooth® LE, and BT Classic for any IoT project usage with ultra-low power consumptionMemory: 8 MB Flash & 2 MB PSRAMUSB to serial: USB to Serial converter built-in with high-speed UART for debugging and uploading, auto-reset circuit works perfectly with any ESP32 uploading tool.Software support: Can be used with Arduino IDE, CircuitPython or MicroPythonRGB LED: Built-in RGB NeoPixel LED with power control to reduce quiescent power in deep sleepRed LED: Built-in Red LED on pin D13Level-shifted output: 5V level-shifted output on D5, perfect for driving NeoPixels or other devices that want 5V logic signalBattery input: Battery input pads on the underside with diode protection for external battery packs up to 6V inputGPIO: 20 General Purpose \"IO\" pinsExposed pads: 20 Pads expose pins from the ESP32Analogue input only: 3 are analog input only (A3, A4, A5)Digital output only: 1 is digital output only (5) with 5V level shifted upAnalogue inputs: 13 x 12-bit analog inputs (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, D12, D13, D14, SDA, SCL, D32, D33)DAC outputs: Dual 8-bit analog output DACs on A0/A1PWM: PWM outputs on any pinI2C: I2C port with STEMMA QT plug-n-play connector - a second I2C port can be defined on any other pins.UART: Hardware UART in addition to the USB-serial UARTSPI: Hardware SPI on the high speed SPI peripheral pins - a second SPI port can be defined on any other pins.I2S: Hardware I2S on any pinsCapacitive touch: 8 x Capacitive Touch with no additional components requiredRegulator: 3.3V regulator with 600mA peak outputSleep current: Light sleep at 4mA, deep sleep at ~10uAReset switch: Reset switch for starting your project code over, for entering bootloader mode or for user readingUser switch: User switch on pin 35Size: Really small!Specifications:Product Dimensions: 35.6mm x 17.8mm x 7.2mm / 1.4\" x 0.7\" x 0.3\"Best suited to compact IoT projects that need ESP32 power, STEMMA QT expansion and an external w.FL / MHF3 / IPEX3 antenna connection.","vendor":"Adafruit","product_type":"Microcontroller Board","in_stock":true,"options":[],"variants":[{"id":16435,"title":"Default Title","sku":"AF-5890","mpn":"ADA5890","price":35.69,"on_sale":false,"in_stock":true,"available_quantity":91}],"documents":[{"title":"Supplier page — adafruit.com","type":"supplier_description","type_label":"Supplier Description","url":"https://littlebirdelectronics.com.au/rails/active_storage/blobs/redirect/BAh7BkkiC19yYWlscwY6BkVUewdJIglkYXRhBjsAVGkDa3wDSSIIcHVyBjsAVEkiDGJsb2JfaWQGOwBG--951b06bf5a5a1b5269c947495f72762abf55a5da/adafruit-itsybitsy-esp32-wfl-antenna-8-mb-flash-2-mb-psram-adafruit-com-2026-08-17.pdf","link":false,"file_extension":"PDF","file_size":1437749,"description":"Snapshot of https://www.adafruit.com/product/5890 (captured 17 Aug 2026)"},{"title":"ItsyBitsy ESP32 w.FL Case Guide (PDF)","type":"user_guide","type_label":"User Guide","url":"https://littlebirdelectronics.com.au/rails/active_storage/blobs/redirect/BAh7BkkiC19yYWlscwY6BkVUewdJIglkYXRhBjsAVGkDcnwDSSIIcHVyBjsAVEkiDGJsb2JfaWQGOwBG--10bddf711aae46a6acc1bae2ef95bb7cd3e50227/itsybitsy-esp32-wfl-case.pdf","link":false,"file_extension":"PDF","file_size":2045293,"description":"PDF guide for the ItsyBitsy ESP32 w.FL case and usage"},{"title":"ItsyBitsy ESP32 w.FL Case Guide (Text)","type":"user_guide","type_label":"User Guide","url":"https://littlebirdelectronics.com.au/rails/active_storage/blobs/redirect/BAh7BkkiC19yYWlscwY6BkVUewdJIglkYXRhBjsAVGkDc3wDSSIIcHVyBjsAVEkiDGJsb2JfaWQGOwBG--00bf5bfd0120283c3d1d7264a1352df61ab65aa0/itsybitsy-esp32-wfl-case.md","link":false,"file_extension":"MD","file_size":14559,"description":"Text version of the ItsyBitsy ESP32 w.FL case guide"}]}
