The Adafruit ATtiny1616 Breakout with seesaw is a versatile development board that combines an ATtiny1616 microcontroller with the Adafruit seesaw I2C framework and STEMMA QT connectivity. It works as both a standalone dev board and an I2C peripheral that adds GPIO, ADC, PWM, and NeoPixel support to any I2C-capable host. Pre-programmed with seesaw firmware, this board acts as an I2C-controlled co-processor — handling timing-sensitive tasks that many microcontrollers and single-board computers struggle with. It can also be reprogrammed as a general-purpose ATtiny1616 development board using the megaTinyCore Arduino core.
