## Description

Add heat-vision to your project with the Adafruit AMG8833 Grid-EYE Breakout. This sensor from Panasonic contains an 8×8 array of infrared thermal sensors that returns 64 individual temperature readings over I2C — like a compact thermal camera you can integrate into any microcontroller or Raspberry Pi project. The AMG8833 measures temperatures from 0°C to 80°C with ±2.5°C accuracy and can detect a human from up to 7 metres away. With a maximum frame rate of 10 Hz, it's well suited for human detection, thermal imaging and heat mapping. On platforms with more processing power (like Raspberry Pi), the 8×8 grid can be interpolated to produce smoother thermal images.
