This 40-pin surface-mount FPC (Flat Printed Circuit) connector is a compact board-level connector for flexible flat cables and display tails. Its contacts are arranged so the cable can be inserted with the contacts facing either up or down, giving you more flexibility when laying out or assembling a project.The dual-sided contact design is handy for manufacturers and makers alike: one connector can suit multiple orientations, reducing the need to stock separate top-contact and bottom-contact versions.It fits the 1.77 TFT LCD Display 160x128 RGB - 3 Wire, and mates with the 1.8in.
