## Description

This 4-channel relay shield from DFRobot plugs directly onto an Arduino Uno or compatible board, providing opto-isolated relay switching for controlling high-power devices such as lamps, water pumps, and motors. Each relay has its own test button and LED status indicator. The shield features a built-in XBee socket for wireless remote control via XBee, Bluetooth, or WPM modules. The relay control pins are selectable (default: digital 2, 7, 8, 10), and an external 9V power supply is required to drive the relays and XBee module. Key Features 4 Relay Channels – Opto-isolated for safe microcontroller interfacing Arduino Uno Compatible – Plugs directly onto Rev3 boards XBee Socket – Built-in support for wireless remote control Test Buttons – Individual test button for each relay LED Indicators – Status LEDs show relay state Selectable Control Pins – Default digital 2, 7, 8, 10 Specifications Contact Rating – 3A @ 120V AC / 24V DC Max Switching Voltage – 240V AC / 60V DC (below 38V recommended) Max Switching Current – 5A Max Switching Power – 360VA AC / 90W DC Coil Voltage – 9V DC Electrical Life – Min 100,000 operations Mechanical Life – Min 10,000,000 operations I/O – 6 analogue + 13 digital channels Operating Temperature – −30°C to +85°C Operating Humidity – 40–85% Safety Standards – UL, cUL, TUV, CQC Dimensions – 95 × 65mm Ideal For Home automation systems Robotics and motor control Wireless relay switching via XBee Arduino-based switching projects Package Contents 1× Relay shield for Arduino V2.1 2× Nylon standoffs with screws Warning: Pay special attention to voltages over 38V.
