## Description

The DFRobot DRI0042 is a compact, high-current DC motor driver capable of continuously driving a single motor at up to 15A (with heatsink) from a 12–36V supply. The onboard LM2575 regulator provides a 5V 500mA output for powering an Arduino or other controller, and all control signal inputs include ESD protection. Direction is controlled via IN1/IN2 logic pins (3.3V/5V compatible) and speed is regulated using a PWM input. The board features under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection to safeguard your system, and uses pluggable screw terminals for easy wiring. Note: Before switching motor direction, brake first by setting IN1 and IN2 to LOW, especially at full speed. A 20A fuse is recommended on the power input.
