13.56MHz RFID/NFC tag assortment [1KB]

Discontinued

This assortment pack includes one of each of five popular 13.56 MHz RFID/NFC tag form factors, all using the Mifare Classic 1K chip. It's a convenient way to test different tag types for your access control, identification, or tracking projects without buying each form factor separately.

Each tag stores up to 1 KB of writable EEPROM data and supports over 100,000 re-write cycles. A permanent 4-byte serial number is factory-burned into each chip for unique identification. All tags are passively powered — no batteries required.

Note: These tags use the Mifare Classic chipset (ISO/IEC 14443 Type A). Since approximately 2014, the NFC Forum no longer supports this chipset, so most newer smartphones cannot read or write to them. This only affects phone/tablet use — dedicated RFID readers (such as PN532-based boards) work without issue.
