A high-torque 100:1 brushed DC gearmotor from Pololu's 37D series — the largest and most powerful in their range. Measuring 37mm (1.46") in diameter and 57mm long, this 12V motor delivers substantial torque for robotics and mechanical projects. The gearbox uses helical gears for the first stage, reducing noise and improving efficiency compared to straight spur gears throughout. An optional 64 CPR quadrature encoder is available separately for closed-loop speed and position control.
