## Our Founding Story

Maddy and Marcus, the co-founders of Little Bird, embarked on this journey in 2006. The spark was ignited when Marcus learned about the challenges of acquiring Arduinos in Australia from his university lecturer. Keen to seize an opportunity and perhaps earn some extra credit, Marcus established Little Bird to import and distribute Arduino boards. As time went on, Maddy joined Marcus, and the duo expanded their operations, incorporating products from top brands like Sparkfun, DFRobot, Seeed Studio, ITead, and Pololu. With time, we've been proud to add even more renowned suppliers, such as Adafruit, Elecrow, and Elecfreaks.

From starting in a humble spare room, Little Bird's journey has included stints in a garage, a modest factory, and now our current location in Leighton Place, Hornsby.
