# Shipping Lead Times

How long a Little Bird Electronics order takes to ship. Every date below assumes the order is placed today, Friday 4 September 2026, and counts business days only — weekends and NSW public holidays are excluded.

## Two cases

**In stock in our Sydney warehouse.** Order before 2pm Sydney time on a business day and it is picked, packed and handed to the carrier the same day.

- Express Post delivery: Mon 7 – Wed 9 Sep
- Parcel Post delivery: Wed 9 – Tue 15 Sep

**Coming in from a supplier.** We bring the part in, check it, then dispatch. The supplier's dispatch window applies first, then carrier transit on top. The per-supplier windows are below.

A product page always states which case a specific item falls into, and carries its own estimated delivery date.

## Dispatch windows by supplier

"Dispatch window" is business days from us ordering to the parcel leaving our warehouse. The delivery columns already include carrier transit.

## How to read these dates

- Business days only. Weekends and NSW public holidays do not count toward a dispatch window or a delivery estimate.
- The 2pm cutoff is Sydney time. Orders placed after it start their clock on the next business day.
- A dispatch window is not a delivery date. It is how long until the parcel leaves us; Australia Post transit sits on top, which the delivery columns already include.
- Mixed carts: if one item is in stock and another has to come in, we can split the order so the in-stock half ships straight away — ask us.
- These are typical windows, not guarantees. A supplier backorder or a customs hold can push a specific item out; we email you if that happens on your order.
- We ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
