## Comparing Products

Not sure which product is right for your project? Our product comparison tool lets you view up to four products side by side with an AI-generated comparison table highlighting the key differences.

### How to Compare Products

1. Navigate to the [Compare](/compare) page from the navigation menu.
2. Search for products using the search bar and select the ones you want to compare (2 to 4 products).
3. Click **Compare** to generate an AI-powered comparison.

The comparison tool uses AI to analyse each product and produce a structured table covering specifications, features, pricing, and key differences — so you can make an informed decision without reading through every product page.

### What the Comparison Includes

- **Summary** — A brief overview of how the products relate to each other.
- **Comparison table** — Side-by-side specifications organised by category (e.g. performance, connectivity, dimensions).
- **Pros and cons** — Key strengths and weaknesses of each product.
- **Recommendation** — A suggested pick based on the comparison.

### Adding Products from Product Pages

You can also add products to a comparison directly from any product page. Look for the **Compare** button and click it to add the product to your comparison list. Once you have two or more products selected, click **Compare** to see the results.

### Sharing a Comparison

The comparison page URL updates automatically as you add products, so you can copy and share the link with colleagues or classmates. For example:

### Tips

- Compare products in the same category for the most useful results (e.g. two microcontrollers or two sensor modules).
- Comparisons are cached for 24 hours, so revisiting the same comparison is instant.
- You need to be signed in to use the comparison tool.
