# Changing Item Quantities

## Changing Item Quantities

Need more of something, or realised you ordered too many? You can adjust item quantities on an existing order before it ships.

### How to Change Quantities

1. Log in to your account and go to your [Orders](/account/orders) page.
2. Click on the order you want to modify.
3. On the order detail page, find the item whose quantity you want to change.
4. Update the quantity using the quantity field or controls next to the item.
5. Confirm the change. Your order total will be updated accordingly.

### Things to Keep in Mind

- Quantities can only be changed on orders that have not yet been shipped.
- If you increase the quantity, the additional cost will be charged to your payment method on file. For unpaid orders, the invoice total will be updated.
- If you decrease the quantity, a refund for the difference will be issued to your original payment method.
- Setting a quantity to zero is the same as removing that item from the order.
- Quantity changes are subject to stock availability. If we do not have enough stock, we will let you know.

Shipping costs may also be recalculated if the change affects the weight or size of the package. If you need assistance, our support team is happy to help.
