Arduino Advent Calendar Day 23 - Infrared Transmitter!
Today we're going to look at the Infrared Transmitter.
An infrared emitter, or IR emitter, is similar to an LED but it emits light on the infrared spectrum.
Like LEDs, our IR emitters have a Cathode (short leg) and Diode (long leg).
As you're no doubt aware, infrared emitters are found in remote controls.
They had really really cool ones in the 90s (see image above).
